Information used by FedDeal AI

We use your account email and authentication identifiers to sign you in. We store saved-search names and filters, alert preferences, your alert-popup choice, subscription status, and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers. Search filters are sent to SAM.gov to retrieve public opportunities. Qualification-helper answers stay in the current browser session and are not saved to your account.

Usage and browser storage

Search requires an account. Daily usage counters enforce search limits and are keyed to a salted hash of your account identifier. Earlier versions allowed anonymous search and stored a salted hash of the hosting platform’s supplied IP address with the first-search time and daily counts; those records are no longer used for new searches. Hosting and infrastructure providers may separately process request metadata and IP addresses for operation and security. Authentication uses browser cookies. A dismissal waiting to sync is kept in session storage for the current account so a failed network request cannot trap you in a popup.

Email and billing

When alerts are enabled, we retain matching public notices, recipient email, queued digest content, and delivery-attempt information. Notice identifiers help prevent duplicate emails, including across overlapping saved searches. Stripe handles payment details when billing is connected; the application does not store full payment-card numbers. Optional email delivery is handled through Resend when configured.

Service providers

Supabase provides account authentication and database storage. Stripe supports subscriptions, Resend supports email delivery, and Vercel is the planned deployment and scheduling provider. We provide each service with information needed for its role. SAM.gov receives opportunity-search parameters. Following an external link takes you to that provider’s site and its own privacy practices.

Your choices and retention

You can delete saved searches and turn off their alerts in your account, or use the unsubscribe link in an alert email. Unsubscribing from alerts does not cancel billing. Account-level notice identifiers may remain after deleting a saved search to prevent repeat emails. Account, billing, security, and operational records are retained as needed to operate the service and address billing or security issues; there is no automatic account-deletion or retention schedule in this MVP.

For access, correction, account closure, or deletion requests, contact hello@feddealai.com. We verify account ownership before changing personal information. Self-service account deletion is not currently offered.

Advertising and updates
